Bicycle touring & MTB
As we have hundreds of Km-s of bike paths, bicycle touring is great adventure. Discover the surroundings by bicycle or e-bike, roll around the villages nearby, visit old towns like Kőszeg, but if you're more about mountain biking, hit close trails, bike parks here and Austria as well.
About Us
4 Cats Apartments
This was a dream. A dream to leave the crowded big city after decades and find a nice quiet place to live. When we firs saw the the bottom of the Alps, decided to get here and settle down.
Now, we'd like to give the option to everyone to taste the unique atmosphere of the microclimate of the Bottom Alps and re-charge, recreate itself.
We've renewed a more than hundred year small building and turned it into a apartment house with the full featured luxe rooms with several services to enhance your convenience.
It's a real quiet place to be. Cák is a sack village, no crossing traffic, except the cats. Our small apartment house built in the middle of the 19th century and made of split stones mined nearby. The 60 cm thick walls keeps the hot or cold outside, but we equipped the house air cons and nordic heating panels as well. We offer several different services, like free EV charging, mobile keys, bicycle service pole and e-bike charging, food & drink for your fridge, fast free WiFi, QI charging, laptop safe, wine selection and more.
And yes we gave the name 4 Cats Shelter, 'cause we're sharing our lives with four cats: Winchester, Sophie, Keanu and Dio.

We rented the whole house for several days. We were very satisfied, the reality matched the description and even surpassed it. A very nicely renovated house with all the amenities, the design, the equipment and the equipment were attentive to every detail. The environment itself and the village are fairytale, but it's close to Kőszeg and the border. The house had everything and there was plenty of everything, we didn't run out of anything. The food was also very high quality and delicious. The host was punctual, attentive and inquisitive, we got useful things to do (brochures) and tips that made our choices easy. Overall, we can only recommend it to everyone.

In a wonderful environment, a jewel box accommodation. You can cut the silence in the village, a peaceful, calm place, with clean air. The house has 3 rooms, the kitchen has all kinds of kitchen equipment. Several types of tea, coffee, jam are prepared, the refrigerator is packed. The care, the well-thought-out, smart solutions are felt in every corner of the house. I really liked the logo-printed bedding, the 4 cats in the decoration are welcoming you everywhere in a kind, not provocative way. Clean, well-kept, tidy environment. I would be happy to go back anytime. The owner is kind, attentive, available for any requests or questions, he knows the area, the sights, we received a lot of important information from him, we would like to thank him for the wonderful few days!

Beautiful surroundings, super equipped apartment. Demanding, even very demanding accommodation. Kind welcome. Perfect choice for up to 3 couples. Separate rooms with bathroom, comfortable bed. Huge, fully equipped kitchen with common room. Nothing more is needed! Thank you for everything. We will definitely come back!
